यह 19 वी सदी की कहानी है। यह अवधि के दौरान देश की आबादी काफी कम हुआ करती थी। एक छोटा सा खेड़ेगांव हुआ करता था। उस गांव के छोटे से मकान में एक बहुत सुखी परिवार रहता था।उस घर में 4 सदस्य रहते थे, माता-पिता और उनकी एक जवान बेटी और एक छोटा 12 साल का बेटा। यह जवान लड़की का नाम आसमा था, यह लड़की बेहद खूबसूरत थी और इसके घने, लंबे, काले बाल थे। उसके बालों को अक्सर बहुत लोगों की नजर लगती थी।इसी कारण उसको बाल खुले रखने की इजाजत नहीं थी। परंतु उसे बाल खुले रखना बहुत पसंद था। वह हमेशा अकेले में अपने बालों से खेलती थी और उसे लहराती थी।
एक दिन आसमा की बहुत करीबी सहेली की मंगनी थी। आसमा अपने छोटे भाई के साथ वह मंगनी में शामिल होने गई थी। वह लोग बैलगाड़ी में बैठकर मंगनी में पहुंचते हैं। मंगनी मैं आसमा काफी मौज मस्ती करती है। नाचने का आनंद लेते हुए उसके बाल कब खुल जाते हैं उसे पता ही नहीं चलता।अब घर लौटने का समय हो चुका था। आसमा ज्यादा रात होने से पहले अपने भाई को लेकर घर जाने के लिए रवाना हो गई। उन लोगों को एक भी सवारी नहीं दिख रही थी। बहुत देर इंतजार करने के बाद आसमा और उसके छोटे भाई ने पैदल जाने का फैसला किया। पैदल चलने पर उन लोगों का घर 20 मिनट की दूरी पर था।
रास्ते में एक छोटा सा कब्रस्तान था। आसमा और उसका भाई वही कब्रिस्तान के करीब से गुजर रहे थे। आसमा को बहुत बेचैनी सी होने लगी, जैसे कोई उसे छुप कर देख रहा हो। अचानक उसकी चलने की रफ्तार धीमी हो गई, मानो कोई उसके चलने की रफ्तार को काबू कर रहा हो। थोड़ी देर बाद आसमा और उसका भाई सही सलामत अपने घर पहुंच गए। आसमा को तो यह बात का अंदाजा ही नहीं था, कि आज से उसकी पूरी जिंदगी तबाह और बदल जाएगी।
वह दिन से आसमा काफी बदल चुकी थी। वह ज्यादा से ज्यादा वक्त अपने कमरे में अकेले बिताती थी। उसने अपने दोस्तों से भी मिलना जुलना कम कर दिया था। और ज्यादा किसी से बातचीत भी नहीं करती थी। एक रात खाना खाने के बाद आसमा की मां आसमा के कमरे के बाहर खड़े रहकर उसकी जासूसी करने लगी, कमरे में झांककर देखने के बाद आसमा की मां ने देखा कि आसमा सारा वक्त अपने आप से बातें करती रहती है। आसमा की मां ने आसमा पर और कड़ी नजर रखना शुरू कर दिया।
एक दिन आसमा ने पूरा दिन खाना नहीं खाया था। वह तीन-चार दिन तक बिना खाना खाए रहती थी,और उसकी सेहत में कुछ फर्क ही नहीं दिखता था। आसमा की मां ने यह सारी बातें आसमा के अब्बू को विस्तार में बताएं। आसमा के अब्बू आसमा के कमरे में जाते हैं और उससे पूछते हैं कि,"तुम पूरा दिन किससे बात करती रहती हो"? आसमा गुस्से में जवाब देती है कि, क्या"आपको मेरे अलावा कोई दूसरा इस कमरे में नजर आ रहा है" ऐसा कहकर वह अपने पिताजी को कमरे से बाहर भेजकर कमरे का दरवाजा जोर से बंद कर देती है।
आसमा के अब्बू फौरन अगले सुबह एक बहुत बड़े पीर बाबा को अपने घर बुलाते हैं। उनको यह सारी घटना बताते हैं। पीर बाबा आसमा की जांच पड़ताल करने के बाद उसके अम्मी अब्बू से कहते हैं कि," आसमा पर 'जिन' आशिक हो चुका है, वह सारा दिन अपने कमरे में बैठकर 'जिन' से बातें करती रहती है, वह 'जिन' उसे स्वादिष्ट पकवान लाकर देता है, इसलिए आसमा कई दिनों तक बिना खाए पिए रहती है"। पीर बाबा ने साफ-साफ आसमा की अम्मी अब्बू को बता दिया कि," आसमा अब कभी किसी भी लड़के से शादी नहीं कर पाएगी और अगर आप लोग उसकी शादी किसी लड़के से जबरजस्ती करवा देते हैं, तो वह 'जिन' उस लड़के को कभी भी आपकी बेटी के करीब नहीं आने देगा और शायद उसका कत्ल भी कर सकता है। यह जीन आसमा से बहुत प्यार करता है और यह उसे कभी भी कोई नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाएगा।
उसकी मां बहुत परेशान रहती थी। आखिर में पीर बाबा की बात नहीं मानते हुए, उसने अपनी बेटी का सादगी से निकाह करवा दिया। शादी के तीन-चार दिन बाद आसमा की मां को आसमा की बहुत याद आने लगी। वह आसमां के ससुराल पहुंच गई। घर के बाहर आसमा की मां को एक बहुत बड़ा ताला दिखाई दिया। उसकी मां ने एक आदमी को पूछा कि," यह घर इतना वीरान क्यो है"? और घर के सारे लोग कहां है? उस आदमी ने बड़ी हैरानी से जवाब दिया कि," यहां सदियों से कोई नहीं रहता कहते हैं। कहते हैं कि यह जीन रहते हैं ।इसलिए यहां का घर मालिक इस घर को छोड़कर चले गया है। पर तुम किसे ढूंढ रही हो?
यह सुनते ही आसमा की मां फौरन पीर बाबा के पास पहुंचती है। और सारी कहानी बताती है। पीर बाबा ने जवाब दिया कि," मेरे मना करने के बावजूद तुमने उसकी शादी करवाई, पर तुम नहीं जानती थी कि तुम जिस से शादी करवा रही हो वह वही आशिक 'जीन' था। और वह आसमा को हमेशा के लिए अपने साथ ले गया।

This is the story of the 19th century. During this period the population of the country used to be quite low. There used to be a small village. There lived a very happy family in the small house . There lived 4 members in the house, parents and their young daughter and a young 12 year old son. This young girl's name was Asma, this girl was very beautiful and had thick, long, dark hair. Her hair was often noticed by many people. That is why she was not allowed to keep her hair open,but she liked to keep her hair open. She always used to play with her hair.
One day there was a engagement ceremony of asma's close friend. Asma along with her younger brother went to attend the ceremony. Those people sat in bullock cart and reached at the ceremony. Asma had enjoyed a lot. She doesn't even realise when her hair opens while enjoying dancing. Now it was time to return home. Asma left to go home with her brother before sunset. They did not see a single ride. After waiting for a long time, Asma and her younger brother decided to go home by walking. Their home was 20 minutes away on walking.
There was a small kabarsta(graveyard) on the way. Asma and her brother were passing close to the graveyard. Asma started feeling very restless, as if someone was stalking her. Suddenly her walking speed slowed down, as if someone was controlling her speed. After a while, Asma and her brother reached their home safely. Asma had no idea that her entire life would be ruined and changed from that day.
Asma had changed a lot since that
day. She used to spend more and more time alone in her room. She had also reduced the chances of meeting his friends and she didn't even talk to anyone like before. After having dinner one night, Asma's mother stood outside Asma's room and spied on her, after looking into the room, Asma's mother saw that Asma kept talking to herself all the time. Asma's mother started keeping a close watch on Asma.
One day Asma didn't ate food for the whole day. She used to live without food for three to four days, and there was no difference in her health. Asma's mother told all these things in detail to Asma's father. Asma's father goes to asma's room and asks her, "Who do you keep talking to all day"? Asma angrily replies, "Do you see anyone other than me in this room"? She shuts the door of the room by sending her father out of the room.
The next morning, Asma's father calls a Pir Baba to his house. Asma's father had explained the whole incident. Pir Baba after examining Asma says to her Ammi Abbu that, "The jinn has fallen in love with Asma, she sits in her room all day talking to the lover jinn and that jinn even bring tastes and delicious dishes for asma, that's the reason why asma stays without eating for several days. ". Pir Baba clearly tells Asma's Ammi Abbu that, "Asma would never be able marry any boy and if you guys force her for marriage , jinn will never let that boy come close to your daughter and Might as well kill him. This jin loves Asma very much and he will never harm her .
Her mother was very upset. Finally not believing in Pir Baba, she got her daughter married with simplicity. Three-four days after the wedding, Asma's mother started remembering Asma very much. She reached at Assam's in-laws house. Outside the house, Asma's mother saw a huge lock. Her mother asked a man, "Why is this house so deserted"? And where are all the people of the home? The man responded with astonishment that, "Nobody has lived here for centuries. Many people say that jin's family stays in this house".Therefore, the house owner has left this house. But who are you looking for?
On hearing this, Asma's mother immediately reaches Pir Baba. And tells the whole story. Then Baba replied, "Despite my refusal, you had done her wedding, but you did not know that the one you were marrying your daughter was the same jinn,and he took Asma with him forever."
