      यह 1990 की बात है ,मेरे नाना को उनके दोस्त का फोन आया। उसने बताया कि उसका छोटा सा एक्सीडेंट हो गया है, और वह हॉस्पिटल में एडमिट है।फिर उसने अपने हॉस्पिटल का पता दिया और नाना से कहा कि आते वक्त 1 किलो सेब ले आना।मेरे नाना एक्सीडेंट का सुनते ही काफी घबरा गए और काफी परेशान हो गए, वह फौरन सेब लेते हुए हॉस्पिटल पहुंच गए।

    अब रात के 10:00 बज रहे थे, वह जैसे हॉस्पिटल के अंदर गए उनको एक वर्ड बॉय दिखाई दिया, नाना ने वह वार्डबॉय को अपने दोस्त का नाम और उसका वार्ड नंबर बताया और उससे कहा कि,"कृपया मुझे मेरे दोस्त के वार्ड तक लेकर चलिए"‌। वार्डबॉय ने मेरे नाना से कहा कि,"आप मेरे साथ चलिए मैं आपको वहां लेकर जाता हूं"‌‌‌‌

   ‌  वार्डबॉय मेरे नाना को अपने साथ लिफ्ट में ले गया। वह लिफ्ट 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल पर आकर रुक गई, और वह दोनों लिफ्ट से बाहर आ गए। थोड़ा आगे चलते ही ,मेरे नाना के हाथ से सेब की थैली नीचे गिर गई और वह उसे उठाने के लिए नीचे झुके, सेब उठाने के बाद जब मेरे नाना खड़े हुए तो वह वार्डबॉय वहां से गायब हो चुका था।

   मेरे नाना ने थोड़ा आगे पीछे मुड़कर देखें, मगर फिर भी वह वार्डबॉय उन्हें नहीं दिखाई दिया।फिर मेरे नाना आगे बढ़े और उन्होंने देखा कि पूरी 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल खाली है। वहां पर ना कोई नर्स या डॉक्टर है और ना ही कोई कमरा है। मेरे नाना पीछे मुड़कर वापस से लिफ्ट के अंदर गए और जैसे लिफ्ट 3rd(तीसरी) मंजिल पर पहुंची वैसी ही एक नर्स लिफ्ट के अंदर आई।

     मेरे नाना ने वह नर्स से पूछा कि,"यह हॉस्पिटल का 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल इतना खाली क्यों है"? नर्स ने हैरान होकर जवाब दिया कि," हमारे हॉस्पिटल में 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल है ही नहीं ,हमारा हॉस्पिटल केवल 4th (चार) मंजिलो का है। मेरे नाना के पैर तले जमीन खिसक गई और वह थोड़ी देर के लिए एकदम शांत हो गए। नाना ने नर्स से बोले की,"मैं तो खुद 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल पर आपके हॉस्पिटल के  वार्ड बॉय के साथ जाकर आया हूं , ऐसे कैसे आप बोल सकते हैं कि 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल है ही नहीं।

     नर्स ने मेरे नाना से वार्डबॉय का हुलिया पूछा, हुलिया सुनते ही नर्स ने जवाब दिया कि,"इस वार्डबॉय का नाम संजय था।इसका एक हफ्ते पहले ही हॉस्पिटल के सामने एक्सीडेंट हो गया था। वह वक्त मेरे नाना 10 मिनट के लिए सदमे में चले गए थे। जैसे कैसे करें मेरे नाना अपने दोस्त के वर्ल्ड तक पहुंचे और उसकी तबीयत पूछी और उसे सेब की थैली थमा दी। नाना ने अपने दोस्त को यह हादसे के बारे में कुछ नहीं बताया क्योंकि वह परेशान हो जाता, और हॉस्पिटल में रहने से डरता।

     मेरे नाना अब हॉस्पिटल से बाहर आए और सामने खड़े रहकर हॉस्पिटल की मंजिलें गिनी और वह बराबर 4th(चार) मंजिलों की थी।मेरे नाना पूरे रास्ते कशमकश में थे कि जब 5th(पांचवी) मंजिल थी ही नहीं तो वह वाह कैसे पहुंचे।

English translation:-

     It was the 1990s, my maternal grandfather received a call from his friend and his friend told him that he had a small accident, and he is admitted to the hospital. Then he gave the address of the hospital and told my grandfather to bring 1 kg of apples with him on arrival.  My grandfather became very nervous and  upset as soon as he heard about the accident, he immediately reached the hospital carrying the apple bag with him.

       Now it was ten o'clock in the night, as he went inside the hospital, he saw a word boy, my grandfather told wardboy his friend's name and his ward number and told him, "Please, take me to my friend's ward "‌.  Wardboy told my grandfather,"You  with me, I will take you there"

 ‌   Wardboy took my grandfather in the elevator with him.  The elevator stopped on the left 5th floor, and both of them came out of the elevator.  Walking a little further, the apple bag fell from my  grandfather's hand and he bent down to pick it up, the wardboy had disappeared from there when my  grandfather stood up after lifting the apples.

     My  grandfather looked back a little, but did not find the Wardboy. Then my  grandfather went ahead and saw that the entire 5th floor was empty.  There is neither a nurse or a doctor nor is there any room.  My grandfather turned back and went inside the elevator and a nurse came inside the elevator as the elevator reached the 3rd  floor.

     My grandfather asked the nurse, "Why is the 5th floor of this hospital so empty"?  The nurse replied in astonishment, "Our hospital does not have any 5th floor, our hospital is only of 4 floors .The ground slipped under my grandfather's feet and he became very quiet for a while. My grandfather said to the nurse, "I myself have visited the 5th  floor with the ward boy of your hospital, how can you tell that there is no 5th  floor?"

    The nurse asked my grandfather wardboy's description. On hearing the description the nurse replied, "This wardboy's name was Sanjay,he met with an accident in front of the hospital a week ago. That time my  grandfather was in shock for 10 minutes. Atlast my grandfather reached his friend's ward and asked  his health and gave him the apple bag. Grandfather did not tell anything to his friend about the incident because he would gets nervous, and afraid to stay in the hospital.

     My grandfather now came out of the hospital and started counting the floors  and it was equal to the fours storeys. My grandfather was in trouble all the way that how did he reach there when there no 5th floor.
